Finance Minister Ivane Machavariani at the briefing held
together with National Bank President Koba Gvenetadze and Head of International
Monetary Fund Mercedes Vera-Martin announced, that Georgia's economic growth
projection for this year is
4,6, which demonstrates high
rate in the region.
They discussed completion of the fourth review of advance
financing mechanism. According to Machavariani, economic growth projection is
due to reforms carried out by the Georgian government.
Georgia's economic growth projection for the current year is
4,6, which is remarkably high in the region and reaffirms the effectiveness of
the reforms carried out by the Georgian authorities. This has been observed by international
credit agencies, as a result of which, our credit rating has been improved by
Mood’s, Standard & Poor's and Fitch. Minister is looking forward to economic
dynamics of the country.
